The Assistant Secretary for Health at the US Department of Health and Human Services toured two sexual health clinics, organized by two McGill clinician researchers, namely Marina Klein and Bertrand Lebouché, during her visit to the 24thInternational AIDS conference, held in Montreal this year where over 10,000 people from 161 countries took part.

The visit comes shortly after the Canadian Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos recently announced that the government will invest $17.9 million to increase access to HIV testing in remote communities and among hard-to-reach populations.
