 Palliative Care McGill is an interdisciplinary network of clinicians, educators, researchers, allied-health professionals, volunteers and support staff who work together across five teaching hospitals to provide top-quality palliative care, education, and research.

Dr Mark Hamel, PhD, is Clinical Director of the Psychosocial Oncology Program, McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), in Montreal. He has conducted wide-ranging research in the palliative care of patients with cancer, HIV and Alzheimer’s.

Dr Christopher MacKinnon specializes in the domains of sexuality, relationships, coping with pain and illness, as well as having particular expertise in loss and bereavement.
