TO ALL FACULTY MEMBERS, LEARNERS AND GRADUATES:

Deadline extended to March 31 at noon for the 2025 McGill Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Clinical Innovation Competition (CLIC).

This new deadline will give our CLIC applicants a few extra days to work on their proposals and will avoid conflicts with other funding agency deadlines. If you plan to send a late application, please send an email to innovation.med@mcgill.ca.

Now in its eighth year, we are grateful to our generous donors for sponsoring the prizes below, which consist of a monetary award, services and credits to support the development of proof of concept and preparation for commercialization or implementation:

  • The Hakim Family Innovation Prize
  • The Marika Zelenka Roy Innovation Prize
  • The Marika Zelenka Roy Simnovation Prize
  • The Pediatrics Clinical Innovation Prize (I)
  • The Pediatrics Clinical Innovation Prize (II)
  • The Smart & Biggar Innovation Prize
  • New for 2025: the Raab Student Innovation Prize

The competition is open to members of all faculties at McGill University and all members of the McGill-affiliated health network.

Proposals submitted to the McGill CLIC will be reviewed by a panel of judges, and finalists will be selected to “pitch” their ideas during the CLIC event to be held in person on May 21, 2025.

To learn more about eligibility, the timeline and criteria, “CLIC” here. The new deadline to submit is March 31, 2025. We look forward to receiving your submission.
