Philippe Leblanc, a former doctoral student in Dr. Maya Saleh’s lab in the Complex Traits Group who graduated in 2014 has had a paper designated as one of the best of 2014 published by the Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC).
Philippe’s paper is titled “An immunogenic peptide in the A-box of HMGB1 protein reverses apoptosis-induced tolerance through RAGE receptor.”
JBC editors selected only 21 papers from thousands that were published last year. They chose one paper for each of the JBC’s affinity groups http://affinity.jbc.org, and Philippe’s represents the Immunology http://immunology.jbc.org/ Affinity Group.
