Rémi Quirion, Vice-Dean, Life Sciences and Strategic Initiatives for McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine, is being recognized for the sum of his achievements in the fields of neuroscience and mental health. The degree will be awarded during spring convocation ceremonies held next month.

Quirion is Scientific Director of the Douglas Institute’s Research Centre and professor at the Department of psychiatry at McGil. Last year, Quirion was awarded an honourary degree from the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS), for for his research on Alzheimer’s disease, pain, schizophrenia.
