Dr. Kent will be chairing a round table discussion.

Bridie KentDr. Kent is a Registered Nurse with extensive clinical, academic and research knowledge, skills and experience; a visionary leader with a passion for nursing and person-centered care; an accomplished researcher, teacher and clinician; and an innovative and highly respected health professional.

She has held both clinical and academic appointments that have resulted in extensive expertise in quality improvement, practice change, health services education and research, as well as over 15 years’ experience in critical care nursing.

Her two main platforms of research are evidence based practice and practice improvement; and implementation science.

She is currently Professor of Leadership in Nursing, in collaboration with two NHS Trust in the South West of England to enhance leadership skills amongst clinicians, develop evidence-based practices and bring Plymouth University to its potential users.

She has also supervised over 25 masters and PhD students to completion.
