The DNATV meeting has occurred yearly for over 4 decades and over the years has showcased extraordinary breakthroughs in virology and cancer biology. This will be the second time that this meeting is held in Canada. During the last DNATV meeting in 2012 in Montreal, 200 scientists from 17 different countries attended and the meeting was a great success in part due to the support of the CIHR. This yearly meeting brings together the DNA tumour virus research community from across the globe, highlights the year’s most outstanding research accomplishments in the field, and fosters international collaboration.
