Both students had won poster prizes during the 2009 McGill Student Research Day and had the opportunity to present their research at the Symposium.

Dorota’s research focused on a pilot cancer drug study in mice. In particular, she is interested in how aging affects cancer treatment and in whether a class of drugs called angiogenesis inhibitors could promote metastasis.

Adam Hart, who won second place prize in the clinical research category at the Symposium, developed a contact-free respiration sensor for smart-bed and ambulatory monitoring applications.

Congratulations to both!
