On October 10, second-year medical students received their white coats from their Osler fellows as part of McGill’s “Donning the Healer’s Habit” ceremony that marks the transition to clinical training. Over 1,000 participants, including more than 250 students from the Montreal campus and Campus Outaouais, as well as their families, friends and Osler fellows, gathered to celebrate this milestone. The ceremony featured keynote speaker Donald Boudreau, MD, FRCPC, Associate Professor at the Institute of Health Sciences Education, who shared reflections on the meaning of the white coat and the responsibilities it represents.
