Laura Drudi, a first-year medical student, was recently selected by the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA) and the International Association of Military Flight Surgeon (IAMFSP) as the recipient of the AsMA and the first IAMFSP CAPT Dave Brown Memorial Scholarship (in memory of Dave Brown who lost his life on his first mission to space).
Just recently, she was notified by the Canadian Space Agency that she will be one of twenty-four Canadians representing Canada at the International Astronautical Congress in South Korea in next October. Finally, she was chosen by the International Astronautical Federation after several rounds of applications to be one of seven students to present at the Youth Plenary about her current research, space involvement and future aspirations.

Tout récemment, l’Agence spatiale canadienne l’informait qu’elle comptera parmi les vingt-quatre Canadiens qui représenteront le Canada au Congrès international d’astronautique en Corée du Sud, en octobre prochain. Enfin, Laura a été choisie par la Fédération internationale d’astronautique après plusieurs tours pour compter parmi les sept étudiants qui feront une présentation au Youth Plenary au sujet de ses recherches actuelles, son engagement dans le milieu de l’aérospatiale et ses projets d’avenir.
