GOAL OF THE FELLOWSHIP
This Fellowship has been created to “further and/or reward excellence in medical education by either an advanced postgraduate trainee or a faculty member in the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.”
More specifically, this Fellowship can be used as a salary award to help fund activities related to medical education.
Examples of such activities include: curriculum design or innovation, research in medical education, advanced training in medical education, or travel to a medical education meeting.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS
The deadline for applications for the 2010 award is December 10, 2010. The name of the Fellowship holder will be announced in January 2011. The next deadline for applications will be June 15, 2011 – for funds to be awarded in September 2011.
To apply, please submit: (1) a copy of your CV; (2) a one‐page description of your achievements in medical education to date; and (3) a one‐page description of your future plans and how you would like to use the Fellowship to promote research and innovation in medical education. At the end of the year, you will be expected to provide a one‐page summary of your accomplishments during your Fellowship year.
