Yesterday, the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) presented its newest weapon in the fight against cancer and certain other pathologies that require precise and delicate procedures. The only one of its kind in Canada, the Novalis Tx linear accelerator makes it possible to substantially reduce the duration of radiotherapy, as well as the damage to healthy tissue surrounding the area to be treated.
