2020
I used to make it a habit to write limericks or rhymes for departmental occasions (promotions, thesis defenses, etc). Those of us who participate in DOC [the Dean’s Operations Committee] wrote some during the pandemic era. Here is one that I wrote:
2020’s been the year of corona,
Many people have been feeling alone-a.
But the year’s almost over,
And the world will recover,
Let’s hope next year there’s less to bemoan-a.
