Dear Colleagues,
After two and a half years amongst us as Director of Human Resources at the Faculty of Medicine, Andrew Mackay has chosen to undertake a new challenge outside of McGill.
While with us, Andrew was instrumental to the reorganization of the administrative functions of the Faculty into the Administrative Excellence Centre model. He worked diligently and contributed significantly to the deployment of the new centres, from the pilot to the 8th team that was recently brought together. We are grateful for his energetic input into the success of this important project.
We also want to underline how Andrew’s sense of strategy has helped the Faculty go through difficult budgetary times, and we thank him for this. Last year, when the Faculty was facing challenging cuts, Andrew represented the Faculty and its interests on a number of committees, and his interventions made a positive difference.
Andrew has been an extremely pleasant colleague to work with and is a real team player. It has been a pleasure having him on our team.
