Dr. Cervero is the Director of the Alan Edwards Centre for Research on Pain of McGill University. He holds the Canadian Institute for Health Research (CIHR) industry Chair and is a full professor in the Department of Anesthesia and the Faculty of Dentistry. The Centre comprises researchers from the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Science. Its main goal is to bring together the McGill community of basic and clinical pain researchers in order to promote work that will eventually result in cures for chronic pain.
