Three Faculty of Medicine researchers were appointed Canada Research Chairs; nine in total were appointed from McGill. Over $8 million will be shared by the newly appointed and renewed CRCs.

The Canadian Research Chair program is a federally funded initiative that sponsors academic research, endorses innovation and supports new exploratory endeavors by academic professionals and presents outstanding candidates with monetary awards.
