This edition of the ASPIRE Newsletter expanded its mandate to draw particular attention to the Infection Prevention and Control Department’s new on-line accredited training initiative. With ever-growing and difficult to treat dangerous antibiotic resistant and infectious pathogens emerging, it is critical that everyone in all direct patient-contact healthcare roles and institutions be adequately informed and skilled to play a proactive role in combatting contagion.
