After a busy year which saw the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders celebrate its 50th anniversary and complete a major move from their long-term location in Beatty Hall to their new and improved facilities on the 8th floor at 2001 McGill College Avenue, the School held a celebratory event in the reception area of the new offices on November 11th.
In addition to celebrating the opening of the new location, the event offered the opportunity to mark the promotions to Full Professor of Drs. Linda Polka, Elin Thordardottir, Susan Rvachew, and Vincent Gracco, and the arrival of their new tenure track faculty member, Dr. Nicole Li.
Also during the night, Ms. Stefanie Nickels, a doctoral student with the School was presented with the Lucie Besner Neuroscience of Human Communication Fellowship award by Mme Besner.
