A video launched in 2017 is getting a second wave of attention as part of the Faculty of Medicine’s Proud to Teach initiative. The video highlights the vital role of teaching and mentorship at the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy (SPOT).

In order be as authentic as possible, alumni were asked to send in a memorable teaching moment from their studies and training at the school.  Many responses were received, from alumni as far back as the Class of 1960!

Two filming days were scheduled, teaching settings matched to the words of the testimonials, video crew filmed throughout the buildings, hours of editing…et voila.

Testimonials not only included memorable teaching moments but also comments on the buildings themselves, from the ceilings, carpets and staircases to the overall architecture, and of course, the social memories within the walls of the buildings.

Take a few minutes to view the video and appreciate the teaching and mentorship moments.
