Each year, McGill Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT) students finishing their undergraduate or qualifying year receive nametags that identify them as McGill OT or PT students at this milestone ceremony. The ceremony marks the transition from classroom learning to clinical experience as students begin their clinical placements wearing their name tags.
Director and Associate Dean Laurie Snider, OT, PhD, opened this year’s event, held on April 17, and welcomed Jean-Pierre Farmer, MDCM, Associate Vice-President and Vice-Dean (Health Affairs), who offered opening remarks. Inspiring clinicians Lucy Bartlett, OT and Howell Lin, PT and students Zach Esfandiari (M1 OT) and Ming Eng-Michell (M1 PT), also shared their reflections at the event.
We wish all students continued success in their academic journeys to becoming physical and occupational therapists!
