Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to share the news that our colleague Pascale Mongrain, Executive Director at the Faculty of Medicine, will be leaving McGill University in order to pursue a new and exciting career challenge. Pascale’s last day with us will be April 18, 2019.

On joining the Faculty of Medicine in 2012, Pascale assumed the major responsibility of reorganizing the structure of many of the Faculty’s administrative services, including Finance and Human Resources.

The highly structured administrative changes implemented under Pascale’s direction have enabled the Faculty to move forward in ways that were not previously possible. Her many accomplishments include building a robust and accountable Finance organization, establishing the Administrative Excellence Centre structure to bring expertise in strategic areas to the Faculty’s departments, and tackling the Faculty’s formidable space issues with creativity and success. Pascale also led the recruitment of a number of excellent administrative professionals, who have become leaders within the Faculty.

As a result of Pascale’s commitment to the Faculty’s operational success, together with her leadership, administrative excellence and strong advocacy of the Faculty’s needs, Pascale leaves the Faculty in a much better position than when she arrived. We are deeply grateful for her many contributions.

Please join me in wishing Pascale every success in her new role, one that she will no doubt approach with her characteristic rigour and commitment to success that she demonstrated throughout her time here.
