I am pleased to announce the appointment of Nicole-Ann Shery to the position of Wellness Consultant (Academic Associate) for the Ingram School of Nursing, School of Physical and Occupational Therapy, and the School of Communication & Disorders, in The WELL Office, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University, effective October 16, 2017.

Nicole-Ann Shery holds a Master’s in Education (Concentration in Counselling Psychology) as well as has additional professional experience in specific areas pertaining to trauma, anxiety and depression as well as suicide intervention.

Ms. Shery is a highly skilled counselling professional with more than six years of experience providing education, support and out-reach to University students in one-on-one and group settings.

In this newly created role, Ms. Shery will be responsible for clinical interventions as well as individual counselling, developing, coordinating, and implementing activities and workshops in support of the Schools’ mission. Ms. Shery will be working alongside Assistant Dean of Student Affairs (Schools) Deborah Friedman in developing workshops, support groups, and other initiatives that will promote a healthy learning environment and assist learners in reaching their academic, personal, and professional goals.
