MUHC physician Dr. Gaston Ostiguy believes that electronic cigarettes are useful for medical purposes, in particular in efforts to help patients to stop smoking cigarettes. Dr. Ostiguy made the comments in an article appearing on Canoë Santé, saying that despite claims to the contrary, electronic cigarettes containing nicotine that are banned in Quebec pose no danger.
