According to recent rankings published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Top Universities, Montreal ranked as the best city in Canada in which to be a student. Overall, the QS Best Student Cities Index ranked Montreal eighth on its list of the world’s best places in which to be a student last year. QS praised it for having a number of Canada’s “highest ranking institutions,” including McGill, which it has ranked second among Canadian universities. Consult the rankings here.
