Speaking with Mathieu Bélanger from Le Droit on Wednesday, March 19, Dr. Samuel Benaroya, Associate Vice-Principal Health Affairs at McGill University indicated that while it would not be possible to provide instruction in French at its proposed satellite faculty in Outaouais for 2016, he left the door open to that possibility somewhere down the road.
Dr. Benaroya indicated that there remain several challenges to providing medical instruction in French, not the least of which is human resources (moreso than a willingness from McGill).
