McGill’s Ingram School of Nursing held its 2014 awards ceremonies on the morning of May 29. The annual event provides an opportunity to honour student award recipients and to celebrate all graduating students, prior to the Health Sciences Convocation, held later that afternoon.

Professor Elaine Doucette presented Kara Leigh Redden with the Pearson Education in Canada Book Prize and Eliane Deslaurier-Rochette with the Barbara Ann Altshuler Convocation Prize. Vanessa Wrzesien was presented with The F. Moyra Allen Convocation Prize by Dr. Linda McHarg.

In addition to the award presentations, a special guest speaker was on hand in the form of Royal Orr, who has been involved in the Highlands Hope project.
