McGill researchers awarded FRSQ funding

Thirty-one researchers from McGill’s Faculty of Medicine have been awarded salary support from the Fonds de la recherche en santé du Québec (FRSQ), a 41.6% success rate.

The awardees excel in a wide range of fields from medical physics and radiation oncology to microbiology and immunology.

The funding will ensure that work in various areas of research, including health services in gastroenterology and depression and studying the role of endogenous lipid mediators in the genesis of viral pneumonias and influenza, takes place. For the Clinicien Nationaux program, McGill researchers were awarded 3 of the 5 prizes.
