Dear Faculty of Medicine alumni, faculty, staff, students and supporters,
If you would like to experience one of the most original travel experiences ever, while raising funds for McGill’s new undergraduate MDCM program, join The AMAZING CHASE across ASIA!
Loosely based on the reality series The Amazing Race, McGill’s version is a fun and challenge-packed 12-day adventure across Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, where teams of two people search for clues and compete for a $1,000 prize.
Fundraising will support the Community Health Alliance Project (CHAP), the goal of which is to place all second year students in the new MDCM program with partnering health-related community organizations. CHAP exposes medical students early in their careers to social, environmental, economic and historical determinants of health, as well as to the relevance of community health.
Space in The AMAZING CHASE across ASIA is limited to 16 teams and the fundraising deadline is July 25, 2014, so click here for more information or to sign-up.
The AMAZING CHASE across ASIA will take place from October 27 to November 7, 2014.
Good luck to all who join in this unique experience and fundraising effort!
