Team A – Double Down
Although we have done a lot of travelling together over the 16 years that we have known each other, we have never been to Asia together. In fact, Rob has never been to Asia. We are really looking forward to the Amazing Chase as a different type of travel experience and as a way to get out our usual travel ‘bubble’.
We try to enjoy an active lifestyle that includes climbing, cycling, hiking, and skiing. We hope that this will help us during any ‘challenges’ that we may face as part of the Amazing Chase. The heat might work against us.
We look forward to raising money for McGill. In fact, we plan to ‘Double Down’ and match the first $5000 of donations that we receive. If we win the $1000 dollar prize for the race, we plan to split the money between the charity of choice of our top donator and the Manoir Edith (http://associationbenevole.wix.com/associationbenami#%21accueil-english/c251s) that recently was destroyed by a fire.
