Three new inductees to the Faculty of Medicine Honour List for Educational Excellence were celebrated during an event held in Holmes Hall on June 12, 2014. The Faculty Honour List for Educational Excellence recognizes outstanding contributions to education in the areas of teaching, educational leadership and innovation, faculty development and research and scholarly activity. Now in its 16th year, the Faculty Honour List includes 116 laureates with the addition of the new inductees.

“This ceremony recognizes those who have made an exceptional commitment to educating health professionals,” said Dr. David Eidelman, Vice-Principal (Health Affairs) and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, who delivered the opening remarks at the event. “We are very fortunate in this Faculty to continue to produce outstanding educators. Today we honour three of them.”

The 2014-2015 Faculty Honour List for Educational Excellence inductees are:

Gillian Bartlett-Esquilant, Associate Professor, Department of Family Medicine and Associate Member,  Department of Medicne, Division of Experimental Medicine;

Farhan Bhanji, Associate Professor, Pediatrics;

Isabelle Gagnon, Assistant Professor, School of Physical and Occupational Therapy.
