Mariam Sylla
of the McGill University women’s basketball team, has won a $5,000 bursary as the most outstanding ambassador to represent Lait’s Go Sport, a premiere milk protein shake produced by Saputo.Sylla, a third-year science major in pharmacology, was one of 12 ambassadors – six of them women – announced last January from the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec for the program, which selects from the top student-athletes that combine athletic prowess and academic excellence.
