David Stellwagen, Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Faculty of Medicine was among the five McGill researchers to receive a Discovery Accelerator Supplement from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), as part of a total of $30million new funding announced for the University.
The Supplements provide funding above and beyond a standard NSERC grant to maximize the potential impact and timeliness of exceptional research projects. Dr. Stellwagen received the funding for his research into the Glial regulation of synaptic plasticity.
