The newly created Office of Interprofessional Education (OIPE) is dedicated to creating, implementing and evaluating the IPE curriculum for students in the Faculty of Medicine, as well as, designing supportive faculty development activities.
Students in Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology and Dentistry engage in collaborative team building opportunities within a variety of learning environments, including the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning. Faculty development sessions are presented to help prepare facilitators.
A website has just been launched that faculty, students and clinicians can browse to further explore the possibilities of learning with, from and about each other.
