This year’s Centraide campaign began October 3rd and runs until December 3rd with university wide goal of $450, 000. During this time, the Faculty of Medicine will participate in several fundraising activities for this worthy cause, including bake sales to be held at McIntyre Medical Building!
The second of three bake sales will be at the McIntyre Medical Building on Friday, November 16th. The third and final bake sale will take place at the McIntyre Medical Building on Friday, November 23rd. All items will be sold for $1 apiece and each bake sale will run from 11:30am to 1:00pm.
By giving to Centraide of Greater Montreal, you are supporting a network of 370 community agencies as well as many causes and vulnerable groups in Montreal, in Laval and on the South Shore. The agencies funded by Centraide address important social issues, including poverty, hunger, homelessness, substance abuse, mental health problems and exclusion; The money donated to Centraide goes to help 500,000 people, including children, women, men and persons with disabilities.
