Following the devastating earthquake and tsunami on the Northern Pacific coast of Japan on March 11, many members of our McGill family may be concerned about loved ones, friends or colleagues who may have been affected by this disaster.

Those seeking information on Canadian citizens believed to be in Japan can contact the Emergency Operations Centre of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada at 1-800-387-3124.

For those considering a donation, one option is the Canadian Red Cross through a fund it has established to support relief efforts in Japan.

To help cope, various services are available to members of the McGill community.
