The Government of Québec revealed yesterday the names of the 35 people who will be honoured through induction or promotion within the Ordre National du Québec. Included among the list are Dr. Philippe Gros, Deputy Vice-Principal (Research and Innovation) who will become a Chevalier, and Dr. Phil Gold, the Douglas G. Cameron Professor of Medicine and Professor of Physiology and Oncology, who will be promoted to Grand officier, the Order’s highest rank. Additionally, McGill Medicine alumni Dr. Daniel Borsuk and Dr. Laurent Duvernay-Tardif will be inducted as Officier and Chevalier respectively, while philanthropist Sharon Azrieli will also be inducted as Chevalière.
