Dr. Edith Hamel, Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Dr. Mindy Levin, Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy in the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy are the 2014 laureates of the John J. Day Award of Excellence.
Each year, excellence among Québec research is recognized through the awarding of this prize. In addition to the recognition, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Québec further supports researchers through this prize, providing each laureate with a $10 000 award.
