This award, given by the Canadian Society for Clinical Investigation (CSCI), recognizes outstanding research accomplishments in the first eight years of an investigator’s independent career.

Dr. Rob Sladek is an Assistant Professor for the Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism and researcher for the McGill University and Genome Quebec Innovation Centre.

His current research projects include developing a high-throughout imaging platform to identify and characterize gene transcription networks in living cells.

The 2011 Joe Doupe Young Investigator Award will consist of an engraved plaque, a monetary prize of $1,000 and a complimentary one-year membership with the (CSCI).
