“The best awards are those that come as a complete surprise and are for something you love to do,” says Dr. Primavesi. “It’s a huge honour for me to be recognized for my work in emergency medicine by my professional association.  It’s also extremely humbling because I work with so many outstanding emergency physicians at McGill and through CAEP.  I am grateful for the opportunities and trust that CAEP has provided to me that has allowed me to grow as a person and as a leader. I look forward to leveraging this experience to contribute to the evolution of the new academic Department of Emergency Medicine at McGill.”
