Dr. Patricia Tonin, professor of the McGill University departments of Medicine and Human Genetics and associate leader of the Cancer Research Program of the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre, is the recipient of the 2017 Karen Campbell Award for Research Excellence from Ovarian Cancer Canada. This award was established to recognize and encourage research excellence and achievements that had significant impact on the understanding, future research and treatment of ovarian cancer.
