The Prix André Dupont is awarded annually to a young researcher for excellence in the field of biomedical research. Dr. Saleh’s research group studies the self/non-self discrimination process carried out by the receptors of the innate immune system.

 

 

 

Dr. Cristian O’Flaherty was selected as a research scholar for his work in determining how low levels of peroxiredoxin-1 and -6 are related to oxidative stress and an increase to DNA damage in spermatozoa of infertile men.

 

 

 

Dr. Jacques Lapointe was selected as a research scholar for his work in investigating the role of PDK1 in the evolution of prostate cancer.
