Dr. Martin Olivier, Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, is the recipient of the 2014 CSI Investigator award which is awarded to a member of the Canadian Society for Immunology (CSI) at any stage of his/her career (academic or industry) who has demonstrated excellence in research over his/her career.
The Canadian Society for Immunology has many different awards available for its members. Many of these awards provide the opportunity for its CSI student members to travel to the annual CSI conference or the International Union of Immunological Societies conference. As the mandate of CSI is to foster and support immunology research and education throughout Canada, the funds for these awards are generated from 5% of the Societies’ Investment account.
