Dr. Marion Dove is the recipient of the 2012 Quebec College of Family Physicians Award of Excellence for contribution to teaching in family medicine.
Teaching Family Medicine since 1998, Dr. Dove is dedicated to the development of obstetrics within family medicine. Dr. Dove is an exceptional model, including obstetrics in her family medicine practice at the Côte-des-Neiges CLSC, the Jewish General Hospital and at La Maison Bleue, the three locations where Dr. Dove has taught and practiced prenatal monitoring and intra- and post-partum care. Dr. Dove is a leader in the teaching of Advance Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) to Family Medicine residents. Since 2009 she has been responsible for all faculty development activities of the Family Medicine Department at McGill University as well as supporting faculty development activities for family medicine units located outside of Montreal, specifically in Val-d’Or, Châteauguay and Gatineau.
