Dr. L. John Hoffer, Professor of Medicine and member of the Jewish General Hospital Division of Internal Medicine, is the 2012 recipient of the Khush Jeejeebhoy Award for Best Application of Clinical Nutrition Research Findings to Clinical Practice.
The Khush Jeejeebhoy Award of the Canadian Nutrition Society/Société canadienne de nutrition (CNS-SCN) is given in recognition of an extraordinary contribution in the application of nutrition research that extends clinical nutrition practice beyond the currently accepted boundaries, or that materially expands clinical nutrition practice within those boundaries.
The recipient makes a lecture presentation at the plenary session of the CNS-SCN Annual Meeting, held in Vancouver in 2012.
This is another recognition of Dr. Hoffer’s research contributions to the Jewish General Hospital, McGill University, the Province of Quebec and Canada.
