Family physician Dr.Greg Geukjian is the 2012 recipient of the Award of Excellence for Patient Care in a Non-Urban Region from the Quebec Chapter of The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). A McGill medical graduate with a career spanning over 37 years of family medicine practice in the small town of Ormstown, Quebec, Dr. Geukjian is dedicated to offering the best in health care to this rural community. He and six other physicians were honoured for their contributions to family medicine in Quebec in 2012.
Since 1954, the CFPC has been supporting family physicians in their efforts to provide high-quality health care to patients. Representing 30,000 members from across the country, the organization provides educational opportunities for family medicine practitioners and advocates on behalf of this medical specialty.
