Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to announce that Danielle Dubois is leaving the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences after three years in her role as Director, Building Services.

Danielle joined the Faculty Building Services team in 2018 to assume the complex mandate of overseeing our 26 buildings and locations. Her responsibilities included new construction, renovations and maintenance, as well as strategic advising. Danielle supported the Faculty’s efforts to ensure the efficient use of our research, teaching and administrative space. She also served as liaison between the Faculty and departments, Facilities Development, Facilities Management, Campus Space and Planning Office, and Waste Management.

We would like to thank Danielle for her commitment and efforts during her years with us. She and her team helped steer the Faculty through memorable challenges, including the 2018 fire in the McIntyre Medical Sciences Building and the ramp down and up of on-campus activities required as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Geneviève Côté, the Faculty’s Manager, Projects & Logistics, will oversee ongoing activities while the search for Danielle’s replacement ensues.

We take this opportunity to wish Danielle all the best and success in all her future pursuits.

Sincerely,

Demetra Kafantaris, MBA

Executive Director, Administration and Operations
