After taking part in the program, participants will be able to:
Appreciate the impairment associated with childhood ADHD. Know the literature that informs on the course of the disorder.
Learn the specific aspects of dysfunction that occur in adulthood among individuals diagnosed with ADHD in childhood.
Identify some of the long-term effects of early exposure to stimulant treatment.
DSM-V Recognize the changes made in the classification of childhood psychiatric disorders.
Learn the rationale for the changes. Understand the clinical implications of the diagnostic changes.
