An editorial appearing in the British Medical Journal co-authored by Dr. Barry Pless, a professor of paediatrics and epidemiology at McGill suggests that all mobile phone use should be banned while driving. Dr. Pless suggests that using even the hands-free option poses risk as the driver is still often required to dial the number. He suggests that talking on the phone while driving as a whole is dangerous.
