The McGill Centre of excellence on aging and chronic diseases (CEACD) is pleased to announce its first grants competition to fund clinical projects on co-ordinating the health care and health services delivered to seniors who have multiple chronic diseases.

CEACD is part of Quebec’s McGill integrated university health network (RUIS McGill). The Centre was officially established in February 2012. Its aim is to provide practical clinical support to institutions and clinicians delivering care and services to seniors in the geographic area served by RUIS McGill, with particular emphasis on the challenges associated with multimorbidity. The CEACD is located at the Jewish General Hospital.

In this call for proposals, clinical teams working in primary, secondary, or tertiary care settings in the geographic area served by RUIS McGill are invited to apply for funding to develop innovative clinical interventions that can further the CEACD’s objectives.

The total funding available for all projects combined is C$20 000. The maximum amount available per project is C$10 000, which means that the CEACD will be able to fund at least two projects.

The deadline for submissions is: November 29, 2013. *Please note that this grant competition will not fund research projects.
