Dear Colleagues,
It is once again time to submit nominations for the Maude Abbott and Haile T. Debas prizes.
The Maude Abbott Prize was established in 2010 by the Faculty in order to recognize outstanding female faculty members with academic appointments who excel in Teaching, Research or Administration in the early stages of their career. In order to facilitate fair comparison of nominees, the prize is issued with a special focus each year, with the 2022 focus being teaching. This prize includes a $10,000 monetary award. Visit this page for details, the nomination procedures and the online form. Learn more about Maude Abbott here.
The Haile T. Debas Prize, also created in 2010, recognizes a faculty member of any gender or ethnicity who helps manifest the ideals of equity, diversity, inclusion and anti-racism through practical action across a range of possible activities. This prize also includes a $10,000 monetary award. Visit this page for details, the nomination procedures and the online form. Learn more about Haile T. Debas here.
